Why no pre-made word lists?

Every learner encounters different vocabulary in their studies. The words you struggle with are personal—only you know which ones you need to memorize. ocardric helps you capture and learn those specific words.

What languages are supported?

Currently, you can learn English or German vocabulary. Your native language can be Japanese, English, Korean, Chinese (Simplified/Traditional), German, French, Spanish, Turkish, or Portuguese.

Why 30 words per day?

Quality over quantity. 30 new words daily is substantial for serious retention. This limit encourages you to be intentional about which words you add, focusing on vocabulary that matters most to you.

Is there a free trial?

You can download the app and explore its features. The subscription unlocks AI word generation and all learning features.

Why no progress tracking or notifications?

Language learning is a personal battle. We believe in your discipline. No gamification gimmicks—just a focused tool for people who are committed to learning.

Does it work offline?

Once words are generated, audio playback works offline. You need an internet connection to register new words and generate AI content.

I'm a middle-aged German learner. It's been incredibly challenging—memorizing vocabulary remains one of my biggest struggles to this day.

I built ocardric to ease the burden of word memorization in my daily language study. It's a tool born from my own learning journey and determination to make vocabulary study easier.

This app is for people who study seriously and independently. I don't include pre-made word lists because I believe learners naturally encounter words they need to memorize every day. I don't send notifications or visualize progress—language learning is a battle with yourself.
