punkt.tokyo Inc. ("we," "us," or "the Company") respects user privacy and is committed to protecting personal data in Ocardric ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains what data the App collects and how it is used.

The App collects and processes the following data to provide its services.
1.1 User Identifiers
- Device Identifier: An anonymous device identifier generated upon first launch of the App
- Apple ID Identifier: An anonymous identifier provided by Apple when using Sign in with Apple
These identifiers are used to manage user data and enable synchronization across devices. We do not collect directly identifiable personal information such as names or email addresses.
1.2 User-Created Content
- Registered words, generated example sentences, and generated audio files
1.3 Automatically Collected Data
- App usage data (via Firebase Analytics) and crash reports (via Firebase Crashlytics)
2. Purpose of Data Use
We use the collected data for the following purposes:
- To provide the App's features (vocabulary learning, audio playback, cross-device synchronization)
- To improve the service, fix bugs, and respond to user support inquiries

4. Data Storage Location
User data is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers in the United States.
5. Data Retention Period
User data is retained as long as the account remains active. When a user deletes their data through the App, all related data is promptly deleted.
6. User Rights
Users have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of their data.

7. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for all ages. However, users under 16 years of age should obtain parental consent before using the App. We do not intentionally collect personal data from children.
8. Rights of EU Residents (GDPR)
Users residing in the EU have the rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict processing, data portability, and object to processing of their data. If you have a complaint regarding data protection, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority in your country.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as necessary. If there are significant changes, we will notify users within the App.
10. Language
This Privacy Policy is concluded in Japanese. While this English translation is provided for convenience, the Japanese version shall prevail in the event of any conflict.
